Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern RimePages, which is Rimesoft's primary product, and also apply to other Rimesoft-operated websites, apps, and digital services unless separate terms or a written agreement apply to a specific service. By using the Services, creating an account, or publishing content through the Services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

1. Scope and Acceptance

These Terms apply to your use of the Services. If a specific service, project, subscription, or custom engagement is governed by separate product terms, an order confirmation, or a written agreement, those additional terms supplement these Terms and prevail in case of conflict.

2. Accounts and Access

You must have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement. You are responsible for keeping your account information accurate and up to date. You are also responsible for protecting your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.

3. Services, Plans, and Credits

The Services may include AI-assisted website generation, website publishing, hosting, media management, analytics, domain-related features, and other Rimesoft digital products. Features, pricing, plan limits, usage caps, and credits may vary by service, subscription, or product interface.

Unless otherwise stated, fees are non-refundable to the extent permitted by law. Credits are not money, have no standalone cash value, and may not be transferred or redeemed for cash unless required by applicable law or expressly stated by us.

4. Your Content and Materials

You are responsible for all content, materials, prompts, images, logos, files, website content, domains, campaign assets, and other data that you upload, submit, store, generate, publish, or otherwise use through the Services. You represent and warrant that you have all necessary rights, permissions, and legal bases to use that content.

You may not upload, use, store, or publish copyrighted material, trademarked material, confidential information, personal data, or other protected material unless you have the necessary rights, permissions, or legal basis to do so. You may not use the Services to create or publish unlawful, infringing, deceptive, defamatory, or otherwise rights-violating content.

You retain your rights in your content, but you grant us a non-exclusive license to host, store, process, reproduce, adapt, transmit, publish, and otherwise use that content as necessary to provide, maintain, secure, improve, and support the Services.

5. Prohibited Use

  • You may not use the Services for unlawful purposes or in violation of third-party rights.
  • You may not upload copyrighted or otherwise protected material without proper rights or permission.
  • You may not attempt to bypass security, rate limits, pricing mechanisms, technical restrictions, or access controls.
  • You may not distribute malware, spam, fraudulent content, or impersonate any person or entity.
  • You may not use the Services for high-risk activities where failure, inaccuracy, or interruption could result in personal injury, health risk, or material damage unless expressly agreed in writing.

6. AI Features and Outputs

RimePages and other Services may use AI to generate text, images, structure suggestions, layouts, code, or other outputs. AI outputs may be inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, or similar to content generated for other users. You are solely responsible for reviewing, verifying, editing, and approving all AI-generated outputs before publishing, relying on, or using them.

We do not guarantee that AI outputs are exclusive, non-infringing, compliant with law, or fit for any particular purpose. AI outputs are not legal, financial, medical, or other professional advice.

7. Intellectual Property

Rimesoft and its licensors retain all rights, title, and interest in the Services, including software, workflows, models, interfaces, templates, documentation, branding, and underlying technology. Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive right to use the Services in accordance with your plan and these Terms.

If you provide us with feedback, ideas, or suggestions, we may use them without restriction or compensation.

8. Availability, Changes, and Discontinuation

We may change, update, limit, suspend, or remove features of the Services for business, product, technical, security, or legal reasons. We may also discontinue the Services or any material part of them. If we decide to discontinue RimePages or another core ongoing service in a material way, we aim to provide at least 30 days' prior notice.

We may, however, suspend or discontinue the Services immediately without prior notice where necessary to comply with law, respond to an authority request, protect the Services, address abuse, preserve security, or react to third-party dependency changes. You are responsible for exporting and backing up any content you wish to keep before any announced discontinuation date.

9. Storage, Backups, and Data Loss

You are responsible for maintaining your own independent backups of your content and data. We do not guarantee permanent storage, continued availability, or recoverability of any project data, generated content, published sites, media assets, prompts, or other materials stored in the Services.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for loss, deletion, corruption, unavailability, or irrecoverability of data. Following account closure, service termination, or prolonged inactivity, content may be deleted after a reasonable period unless retention is required by law or security needs.

10. Suspension and Termination

We may suspend access to the Services, remove content, or terminate an account if you breach these Terms, misuse the Services, fail to pay amounts due, create security, legal, or reputational risk, or if suspension or termination is required by law or an authority. In serious cases, we may act immediately.

You may stop using the Services at any time. Ending your use of the Services does not release you from payment obligations that arose before termination.

11. Third-Party Services

The Services may rely on third-party providers, such as AI model providers, hosting providers, payment processors, domain providers, analytics services, email services, and other integrations. Those third-party services may be subject to their own terms and policies. We are not responsible for the operation, availability, pricing, or changes of third-party services.

12. Privacy and Data Processing

We process personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy. If we process personal data on your behalf as part of the Services, the parties may enter into a separate data processing agreement where required.

13. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

The Services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, specific performance, search rankings, traffic, sales outcomes, compatibility, or any particular quality of AI output.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law or restricts mandatory consumer rights. If you are a consumer, you retain all mandatory rights granted by applicable law. If you use the Services for business purposes, Rimesoft is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profit, revenue, business, goodwill, data, or anticipated savings. For business users, Rimesoft's aggregate liability is limited to the amount you paid for the relevant Service during the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

14. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of Finland, excluding conflict-of-laws rules. If you are a consumer, you may also benefit from mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence. Business-to-business disputes will be resolved primarily through negotiation and, failing that, by the District Court of Helsinki, unless mandatory law requires otherwise.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page and revise the date above. We may also provide notice of material changes by email, through the Services, or on our website. Changes take effect on the stated effective date. If you do not agree to the revised Terms, you must stop using the Services before the changes take effect.
