Privacy Policy
Last updated: April 8, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Rimesoft processes personal data in RimePages, on Rimesoft websites, in user accounts, AI features, billing, support, and other Rimesoft-operated digital services. It complements our Terms of Service and explains what personal data we process, why we process it, and what rights you may have.
1. Controller and Contact
Rimesoft acts as the controller for the personal data covered by this Policy to the extent we determine the purposes and means of processing. For privacy-related questions or requests, contact contact@rimesoft.com.
2. Scope
This Policy applies when you use RimePages or another Rimesoft service, create an account, sign in, publish a website, upload media, use AI features, contact support, use booking or form features, or visit a Rimesoft public website.
This Policy does not govern how unrelated third-party websites or services process personal data under their own terms and policies.

- AI-related data, such as prompts, instructions, uploaded material, website content submitted for analysis, and AI-generated text, images, suggestions, layouts, or other outputs.
- Billing and subscription data, such as plan details, amount paid, invoice references, payment method, payment status, and transaction records required for accounting.
- Support and communications data, such as customer support requests, emails, feedback, and related correspondence.
- Technical, device, and log data, such as IP address, browser, device, timestamps, error logs, security logs, and session data.

- Content you choose to make public, such as website copy, images, news items, form content, and other material published to a live site.
4. Sources of Data
- Directly from you when you create an account, complete forms, use the service, upload content, publish materials, or contact us.
- Automatically from your use of the service, including logs, cookies, language settings, analytics, and technical diagnostics.
- From sign-in and integration providers if you use Google, GitHub, Microsoft, or similar authentication methods.
- From billing and transaction events if you purchase services by invoice, Stripe, PayPal, or another payment flow we make available.
5. Purposes and Legal Bases
- We process personal data to provide the services, maintain accounts, publish websites, run AI functions, and deliver customer support on the basis of contract performance or steps taken before entering into a contract.
- We process personal data for billing, accounting, fraud prevention, security, and other compliance obligations on the basis of legal obligation.
- We process personal data for service development, abuse prevention, performance monitoring, technical operations, internal reporting, and service protection on the basis of legitimate interests.
- We process data related to non-essential cookies or similar technologies on the basis of consent where applicable law requires consent.
6. AI Processing and User Content
RimePages and other Rimesoft services may use AI services for website drafting, content revision, image generation, analysis, and other assistance features. This may involve processing prompts, website HTML or other content, uploaded files, instructions, images, and AI-generated outputs.
AI processing may involve third-party providers selected by Rimesoft or configured for a given environment, such as OpenRouter, Anthropic, or another provider made available through the service. Do not submit sensitive personal data, confidential information, or third-party materials unless you have a valid legal basis and permission to do so. In the ordinary course of our services, we do not use AI to make solely automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects about individuals.
7. Cookies, Analytics, and Logs
We use necessary technologies for login, session management, security, and storing language preferences. Public pages and parts of the service may also use analytics, including Google tag-based measurement, to understand traffic, performance, and usage.
Your browser settings may affect the use of cookies. Where non-essential cookies require consent under applicable law, the legal basis for that processing is consent.
8. Disclosures and Processors
- We may share personal data with service providers and processors that help us operate the service, including hosting, infrastructure, analytics, email, payments, domain, authentication, and AI providers.
- We may disclose personal data to authorities or other parties where required by law, enforceable request, legal process, or the protection of our rights and services.
- We may make content publicly available where you publish it to a live site, create a public link, or otherwise choose to display it to visitors or recipients.
We do not sell personal data.
9. International Transfers
Some of our service providers may be located outside the European Economic Area or may process data there. Where that happens, we aim to rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses, provider transfer mechanisms, or another lawful transfer basis under applicable data protection law.
10. Retention
- We generally retain account and service data while your account or service relationship remains active and for a reasonable period afterwards for support, security, dispute resolution, and service continuity purposes.
- We retain billing, payment, and accounting records for at least as long as required by law.
- We retain logs, security records, and technical diagnostics for limited periods as needed to prevent abuse, investigate incidents, and protect the service.
- We may retain published content, projects, AI outputs, media files, and backups while they remain part of an active service until you delete them, the account is closed, or retention is no longer necessary.
11. Your Rights
Subject to applicable law, you may have the right to access your personal data, correct inaccurate data, request deletion, restrict processing, object to processing, request portability, and withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. You may also lodge a complaint with a competent supervisory authority.
To exercise your rights, contact contact@rimesoft.com. We may ask for additional information to verify your identity before completing your request.
12. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal data against unauthorized access, misuse, loss, alteration, and disclosure. No online system or transmission method is completely risk-free, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
13. Roles in Customer Website Data
When a customer uses RimePages for its own website, forms, bookings, or other customer-facing data collection, that customer will typically act as the controller for that end-user data and Rimesoft will act as a service provider or processor to the extent we process that data on the customer's behalf. Where Rimesoft independently determines the purposes and means of processing, Rimesoft acts as the controller for that processing.
14. Children
Our services are not directed to children without the involvement of a parent, guardian, or other lawful representative. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children in violation of applicable law.
15. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the service, law, or our processing practices. We will publish the updated version on this page and revise the date above. Where appropriate, we may also provide notice of material changes by email or through the service.
